WALLS 0.1 / Winter

The mural was created on the wall of my home’s centre room, where everyone would dine and work together.
The dullness of the wall would always make me wonder of the possibility of having something brighter. The natural light which would come in through the left side of the backdoor window, gave me the idea to paint yellow flowers. My preference of yellow also stems from my personal love for it, and the idea of choosing a pattern was a very intrinsic and intuitive one. I wanted to pay a tribute to the long standing wall at home, which has stood it’s tests of time. It was changed from beige to white to light blue, and then it became grey due to the obvious long absence of a new layer of coating.  Finally it has a layer of  life over the once grey wall.
